Job Description

DEPUTY AUDITOR II/FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT
The duties of this position are focused on performing a variety of financial-related duties and projects for the Clerk’s Office. Specifically, the following skills and strengths are required:

1. Demonstrated ability in the accounting field, including: journal entry preparation, month end reconciliation, preparation of various financial reports
2. Flexible professional able to work with a variety of personalities
3. Organized and able to work independently and with a high degree of accuracy
4. Highly ethical with the ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality of privileged documents
5. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word software

Education: High school degree required, additional education beneficial. Experience: Two years or more of financial accounting experience preferred.

 Boise County Weed Department is now accepting applications for temporary seasonal work.  Opportunities for both certified and non-certified herbicide applicators are available.  Both positions operate application equipment to apply herbicides in the treatment of undesirable vegetation and are responsible for the calibration of and light maintenance for all application equipment. Certified Applicators provide limited professional advice regarding the identification, control, and management of most general vegetation, and all noxious weeds. Certified applicators must possess an Idaho Professional Applicators License for Agricultural Herbicide or Right of Way and Law and Safety.  Pre-employment Drug Testing is required. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid Idaho Drivers License.
