Position: Boise County Prosecuting Attorney
Description:
The Boise County Prosecuting Attorney’s elected position is now vacant. Pursuant to Idaho Code 59-907, the Board of County Commissioners are seeking letters of interest for filling a temporary vacancy for the term expiring on January 13, 2025.
Interested candidates must be licensed to practice law in the state of Idaho, and submit (1) a letter of interest, detailing applicable criminal and civil experience; (2) a resume; and (3) a minimum of three professional references. Materials should be submitted to Boise County Clerk Mary Prisco, at [email protected] .

Job Description

BOISE COUNTY DEPUTY COURT CLERK
The Boise County Court system has an opening for a full-time Deputy Court Clerk. The principle function of this position is to receive, post and monitor payments within the court system, while correlating them to the appropriate payment agreements. The position requires great attention to detail and accuracy, and reports to the Supervising Deputy Court Clerk. Qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma (or GED) and a clean criminal record. Prior experience in the court system or legal field is desired but not required. Interested candidates are requested to submit both an employment application and a resume. Boise County Solid Waste Department is accepting applications for a Site Attendant at the Idaho City Transfer Site.  Job is part time back up 2 days per week or as needed.  Employment applications are available  at the Clerk’s Office at 420 Main Street in Idaho City, or on line by clicking the link at the top of this page.   Site attendant performs functions in the operation of Boise County Solid Waste including  manual labor, maintaining a sanitary collection site, security of site, buildings and gates, maintain waste logs and receipt books.  Equipment operation experience is beneficial, but is not required.  Position at times requires travel to all county shops or Transfer Stations.   Applicants must be 18 years of age, possess a valid Idaho driver’s license and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Transfer Station Attendant I Job Description

 Boise County Weed Department is now accepting applications for temporary seasonal work.  Opportunities for both certified and non-certified herbicide applicators are available.  Both positions operate application equipment to apply herbicides in the treatment of undesirable vegetation and are responsible for the calibration of and light maintenance for all application equipment. Certified Applicators provide limited professional advice regarding the identification, control, and management of most general vegetation, and all noxious weeds. Certified applicators must possess an Idaho Professional Applicators License for Agricultural Herbicide or Right of Way and Law and Safety.  Pre-employment Drug Testing is required. Must be 18 years of age or older and have a valid Idaho Drivers License.
